Fan-KKM Theorem in Minimal Vector Spaces and its Applications
In this paper, after reviewing some results in minimal space, some new results in this setting are given. We prove a generalized form of the Fan-KKM typetheorem in minimal vector spaces. As some applications, the open type of matching theorem and generalized form of the classical KKM theorem in minimal vector spaces are given.
متن کاملRecent Applications of the Fan-kkm Theorem
In this review, firstly, we recall Ky Fan’s contributions to the KKM theory based on his celebrated 1961 KKM lemma (or the Fan-KKM theorem). Secondly, we introduce relatively recent applications of the Fan lemma due to other authors in the 21st century. Finally, some historical remarks on related works are added.

متن کاملGeneral KKM Theorem with Applications to Minimax and Variational Inequalities
In this paper, a general version of the KKM theorem is derived by using the concept of generalized KKM mappings introduced by Chang and Zhang. By employing our general KKM theorem, we obtain a general minimax inequality which contains several existing ones as special cases. As applications of our general minimax inequality, we derive an existence result for saddle-point problems under general s...
متن کاملFull characterizations of minimax inequality, fixed point theorem, saddle point theorem, and KKM principle in arbitrary topological spaces
This paper provides necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for some important problems from optimization and non-linear analysis by replacing two typical conditions—continuity and quasiconcavity with a unique condition, weakening topological vector spaces to arbitrary topological spaces that may be discrete, continuum, non-compact or non-convex. We establish a single...
